Gostern C Type Quick Release Shackle is a specialized connecting component designed for fast, tool-free connection between pear-shaped rope sockets (wire rope terminations) and lifting chains, grabs, or other below-the-hook lifting devices.The C-shaped forged body with a spring-loaded locking mechanism allows operators to connect or release the link within seconds without wrenches or special tools, significantly reducing downtime during lifting operations.Manufactured in compliance with EN 1677-1 and JT/T246-1995 standards. Made from high-strength forged alloy steel with heat treatment for optimal strength and toughness. Safety factor: 4:1 (MBL = WLL × 4).Available with bituminous paint, hot-dip galvanized, or epoxy coating for corrosion protection. CE marked and Class Society Certification available (ABS, DNV, LR, CCS).
