Gostern G70 Zinc Plated Transport Chain is manufactured from premium high carbon steel with high tensile strength, excellent wear resistance and heat treated construction. This chain is 100% proof tested with a 4:1 design factor , featuring a distinctive yellow zinc chromate (gold) finish for easy identification and superior corrosion resistance .
This Grade 70 Transport Chain is widely used for load securement on flatbed trailers, cargo tie-down in commercial trucks, towing and recovery operations, and logging and heavy equipment transport . The chain is clearly embossed with "G70" and traceability codes on each link for permanent identification 。 Available in 3/8 Inch G70 Load Securement Chain, 1/4 inch, 5/16 inch, 1/2 inch and other standard sizes, it is the ideal choice for G70 Zinc Plated Transport Chain and DOT FMCSA Certified Tie Down Chain applications.
G70 Chain Standard Working Load Limits (WLL) :
1/4" (6.4mm): 3,150 lbs
5/16" (7.9mm): 4,700 lbs
3/8" (9.5mm): 6,600 lbs
1/2" (12.7mm): 11,300 lbs
Important Note: Grade 70 transport chain is NOT to be used for overhead lifting or hoisting applications. Do not exceed the working load limit. Do not weld or overheat the chain as this may damage the metal and reduce its load capacity.
We support Custom Length Transport Chain, OEM, ODM and various end fitting configurations (clevis grab hooks, slip hooks, binder hooks) to meet different cargo securement requirements.
