Gostern AISI 316 Stainless Steel DIN 5685 A Short Link Chain is manufactured from premium AISI 316 (V4A / 1.4401) marine grade stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance, highly polished surface finish and welded short link construction. This chain complies with DIN 5685 Form A (short link) standards, featuring compact link design for enhanced strength and durability.
This DIN 5685 A Short Link Chain features Form A short link configuration for higher strength-to-weight ratio, AISI 316 stainless steel construction for superior resistance to saltwater and chemical corrosion, widely used as Marine Grade 316 Anchor Chain in boating and yachting, as Corrosion Resistant Welded Chain in industrial and architectural applications, and as Stainless Steel Security Chain for railings, barriers, and general fixing. Available in 6mm DIN 5685 Stainless Steel Chain, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm and other custom sizes-, it is the ideal choice for AISI 316 Stainless Steel DIN 5685 A Short Link Chain and Non Lifting Stainless Chain applications.
Important Note: DIN 5685 chains are NOT tested for strength as lifting devices and MUST NOT be used for overhead lifting, load bearing, or static suspension of loads. These chains are designed for mooring, anchoring, fixing, decorative, and general industrial use only.
