G70 Truck Tow V Chain with J Hooks
Gostern G70 Truck Tow V Chain with J Hooks is manufactured from premium Grade 70 alloy steel with high tensile strength, excellent wear resistance and V-bridle configuration. This chain is heat treated, proof tested and features a gold chromate / yellow zinc plated finish for superior corrosion resistance.
This V Bridle Tow Chain features two legs with 15-inch J Hooks with safety latch, a center pear link or grab hook assembly for easy length adjustment . Widely used as G70 Transport Chain for flatbed towing, as Recovery V Chain for wrecker and rollback trucks, and as Truck Towing Chain for auto transport and heavy equipment recovery. Available in 5/16 Inch G70 Bridle Chain, 3/8 inch and other custom sizes, with leg lengths of 2 feet, 3 feet, 6 feet, and custom options available. The V-bridle design provides balanced pulling force when attached to multiple secure points on the vehicle .
Working Load Limit (WLL): 4,700 lbs (5/16") to 5,400 lbs (3/8") at 60° included angle . with breaking strength approximately 4 times the WLL.
Important Note: Grade 70 transport chains are NOT to be used for overhead lifting or hoisting applications. These chains are specifically designed for vehicle towing, recovery, and cargo securement only.
