Fork Adjustable Wire Rope Assembly with Threaded
Gostern Fork Adjustable Wire Rope Assembly with Threaded is engineered for precise tensioning and length adjustment in rigging and structural applications. This assembly features a wire rope with threaded stud ends combined with fork end fittings (clevis forks) that accept a pin connection . The threaded design allows for easy length adjustment by turning the fork end along the threads, enabling precise tensioning without specialized tools . Available in various configurations including stud-fork (threaded stud on one end, fork on the other) or fork-fork (forks on both ends) .
This Threaded Wire Rope End Fitting assembly is manufactured from high quality carbon steel or stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance, high tensile strength and durable construction. It is widely used as Adjustable Fork End Cable Assembly for guy wires and stays, as Turnbuckle Wire Rope Assembly for tension adjustment in structural applications, as Clevis Fork Wire Rope Termination for removable connections in lifting and rigging, and as Rigging Wire Rope with Threaded Ends for architectural tension systems and cable railings . Each wire rope assembly is made to your dimensions and consists of:
-One length of steel wire rope
-Two architectural adjuster forks- one right hand and one left ( Different types of forks are available in KMS, plase contact us for more information, customized fork is also welcomed!)
-Two double headed clevis pins
-Two architectural lock nuts- one right hand and one left
Adjustment to tension on the wire can be achieved by rotating the fork end fittings.
Safety tip: you should only unscrew fork ends the maximum length stated.
