DIN 3093 Aluminum Ferrules for Wire Rope Sling
Gostern DIN 3093 Aluminum Ferrules for Wire Rope Sling are precision-engineered swage sleeves designed for secure, permanent terminations of wire rope slings and cable assemblies. Manufactured in full compliance with DIN 3093 and EN 13411-3 standards, these aluminum ferrules provide a reliable, cost-effective alternative to copper sleeves while maintaining excellent holding strength. The seamless aluminum construction with oval duplex design ensures proper compression and maximum grip on wire rope, creating terminations with up to 90-95% of the wire rope's breaking strength.
This Wire Rope Aluminum Sleeve is precision-extruded from high-strength seamless aluminum material, ensuring consistent performance and a defect-free finish. The oval hourglass shape allows for even compression during swaging, creating a strong, corrosion-resistant, and lightweight termination suitable for indoor, outdoor, and marine environments. The inspection hole feature (available on Form C conical ferrules) allows verification of correct wire rope insertion length before and after swaging, enhancing safety and quality control. Available in sizes from 1mm to 60mm wire rope diameter, it is widely used as Swage Sleeve for Wire Rope for creating eyes and loops in cable assemblies, as Oval Aluminum Ferrule for general rigging and lifting, as Wire Rope Termination Ferrule for architectural cable railings and sailboat rigging, and as Aluminum Duplex Sleeve for marine and industrial applications.
