Gostern PVC Coated Wire Rope Sling is engineered for lifting applications where load surface protection is critical. This sling features a galvanized steel wire rope core fully encapsulated in a smooth PVC (polyvinyl chloride) coating , providing excellent protection against scratches, abrasion, and surface damage to delicate, painted, or finished loads . The PVC jacket is firmly bonded to the wire rope and will not slip under normal use, while offering a soft, non-marring surface that is gentle on sensitive materials . Available in single leg, two leg, and endless configurations , with various end fittings including soft eyes, thimbles, hooks, or master links .

This Vinyl Coated Wire Rope Sling offers the strength of steel wire rope with the surface protection of a soft, non-marring PVC jacket . The PVC coating also provides good chemical resistance to oils, greases, and mild acids, as well as UV stabilization for outdoor applications . The coating is available in multiple colors for easy identification and color-coding of different slings or working load limits . It is widely used as Plastic Coated Lifting Sling in automotive and manufacturing plants, as Non Marring Lifting Sling for handling polished metal parts and finished goods, as Painted Surface Protection Sling for painted equipment and appliances, and as PVC Covered Cable Sling for general lifting where surface protection is required . Available in wire rope diameters from 3mm to 16mm , with working load limits (WLL) ranging from 80 kg to 2,200 kg depending on rope diameter and configuration .
