Gostern 6×24+7FC Steel Wire Rope is manufactured from high quality carbon steel with excellent tensile strength, superior flexibility and anti-rotation characteristics. This rope features a unique construction with 6 outer strands of 24 wires each wrapped around a 7-strand independent fiber core (7FC) . This design provides excellent resistance to twisting and spinning during lifting operations, making it ideal for single rope hoisting where load rotation must be minimized.
This Rotation Resistant Wire Rope is constructed with a multi-strand core design that counterbalances internal torque . It is widely used as Crane Hoist Wire Rope for tower cranes and overhead cranes, as Low Twist Steel Cable for mine shaft hoisting, as Anti Rotation Lifting Cable for construction hoists, and as High Flexibility Steel Rope for applications requiring smooth spooling . Available in diameters from 6mm to 40mm , with Grade 1570 MPa to 1960 MPa tensile strength options . The 6×24+7FC construction offers an excellent balance of flexibility, strength, and rotation resistance, with the 7-strand core providing superior crush resistance for multi-layer spooling applications .
Important Note: Do not exceed recommended working load limits. Regular inspection for wear, broken wires, and diameter reduction is required. For absolute zero rotation applications, consider 18×7 or 34×7 constructions.
