Gostern 6×25Fi Filler Wire Steel Wire Rope is manufactured from high quality carbon steel with excellent tensile strength, superior flexibility and outstanding fatigue resistance. This rope features 6 strands of 25 wires each in a Filler Wire (填充丝) construction – small filler wires are placed in the valleys between larger main wires within each strand, creating a denser, stronger strand without increasing strand diameter. Available with FC (Fiber Core) for maximum flexibility and shock absorption or IWRC (Independent Wire Rope Core) for increased strength and crushing resistance. Offered in both galvanized (zinc coated for corrosion resistance) and ungalvanized (bright) finish. Available in diameters from 6mm to 40mm with tensile strength grades up to 1960 MPa. The Filler Wire design allows for more steel area within the same diameter, resulting in higher breaking strength than standard 6×19 ropes while maintaining good flexibility. Widely used for overhead cranes, hoists, tower cranes, mobile cranes, mine hoists, and general industrial lifting.

6x25Fi Hoist Wire Rope Round Strand Steel Cable

This Filler Wire Construction Hoist Rope offers an excellent balance of strength, flexibility, and fatigue resistance, making it a popular choice for demanding lifting applications . The filler wire design allows for more steel area within the same diameter, resulting in higher breaking strength than standard 6×19 ropes of the same size while maintaining good flexibility . It is widely used as Crane Hoist Wire Rope for overhead cranes and hoists, as Mining Lifting Cable for mine hoisting, as Industrial Hoist Rope for various lifting equipment, and as Extra Flexible Lifting Cable for tower cranes and mobile cranes . Available in diameters from 6mm to 40mm , with Grade 1570 MPa to 1960 MPa tensile strength options .

Core Selection Guide:

FC (Fiber Core) : Best flexibility, shock absorption – ideal for single layer spooling

Minimum Recommended Sheave Diameter: 18 × rope diameter (for FC core) | 22 × rope diameter (for IWRC core)

Important Note: Do not exceed recommended working load limits. Regular inspection for wear, broken wires, and diameter reduction is required.
