6x26WS+FC 6x26WS+IWRC Galvanized Ungalvanizd Steel Wire Rope
Gostern 6×26WS Warrington Seale Steel Wire Rope is manufactured from high quality carbon steel with excellent tensile strength, superior flexibility and outstanding fatigue resistance. This rope features 6 strands of 26 wires each in a sophisticated Warrington-Seale (WS) construction – a 复合型结构 (compound construction) combining the best features of both Warrington (alternating thick/thin wires) and Seale (layered) designs within each strand . Available with FC (Fiber Core) for maximum flexibility and shock absorption or IWRC (Independent Wire Rope Core) for increased strength, crushing resistance and stability in multi-layer spooling . Available in galvanized (zinc coated for corrosion resistance) or ungalvanized (bright) finish .
This Warrington Seale Construction Hoist Rope offers an excellent balance of strength, flexibility, and fatigue resistance, making it a premium choice for demanding lifting applications . The WS design features alternating thick and thin outer wires (Warrington pattern) with a 层压式西鲁层 (layered Seale pattern) underneath, providing superior flexibility without sacrificing strength . With 26 wires per strand, this construction offers greater flexibility than 6×19 while maintaining good wear resistance . It is widely used as Crane Hoist Wire Rope for overhead cranes and hoists, as Mine Hoist Rope for mine hoisting, as Tower Crane Lifting Rope for tower cranes, and as Extra Flexible Lifting Cable for various heavy lifting applications . Available in diameters from 6mm to 44mm , with Grade 1570 MPa to 1960 MPa tensile strength options .
Construction Features:
Warrington-Seale design (WS) : Combines alternating thick/thin outer wires (Warrington) with underlying Seale layer
26-wire strand: Balanced flexibility and strength
复合型结构 (Compound construction) : Excellent fatigue resistance
Dense packing: Good strength-to-diameter ratio
Core Selection Guide:
FC (Fiber Core) : Best flexibility, shock absorption – ideal for single layer spooling
IWRC (Steel Core) : Maximum strength, excellent crush resistance – ideal for multi-layer spooling
Minimum Recommended Sheave Diameter: 18 × rope diameter (for FC core) | 22 × rope diameter (for IWRC core)
Important Note: Do not exceed recommended working load limits. Regular inspection for wear, broken wires, and diameter reduction is required.
We support Custom Length Steel Cable, OEM, ODM and custom drum winding services.
