6x19W Galvanized Ungalvanized Round Strand Steel Cable Rope
Gostern 6×19W Warrington Steel Wire Rope is manufactured from high quality carbon steel with good tensile strength, excellent flexibility and good fatigue resistance. This rope features 6 strands of 19 wires each in a Warrington (瓦林吞) construction – each strand consists of alternating thick and thin outer wires arranged in a special pattern, creating a smoother, more flexible rope than standard 6×19 Seale construction . Available with FC (Fiber Core) for maximum flexibility and shock absorption or IWRC (Independent Wire Rope Core) for increased strength, crushing resistance and stability in multi-layer spooling . Available in galvanized (zinc coated for corrosion resistance) or ungalvanized (bright) finish .
This Warrington Construction Hoist Rope features a 瓦林吞式排列 (Warrington pattern) where thick and thin wires alternate in the outer layer of each strand. This design increases the number of contact points between wires, improving flexibility and fatigue resistance without sacrificing too much wear resistance . Compared to Seale construction, Warrington offers superior flexibility and is therefore preferred for applications with multiple sheave bends . It is widely used as Extra Flexible Lifting Cable for overhead cranes and hoists, as Crane Hoist Wire Rope for tower cranes and mobile cranes, as General Purpose Lifting Rope for various industrial lifting equipment, and as Fatigue Resistant Steel Cable for high-cycle applications . Available in diameters from 6mm to 40mm , with Grade 1570 MPa to 1960 MPa tensile strength options .
Construction Features:
Warrington design: Alternating thick and thin outer wires
19-wire strand: Good balance of flexibility and strength
瓦林吞式排列 (Warrington pattern) : Superior flexibility for multiple sheave bends
Good fatigue resistance: Longer service life in dynamic applications
Core Selection Guide:
FC (Fiber Core) : Best flexibility, shock absorption – ideal for single layer spooling
IWRC (Steel Core) : Maximum strength, excellent crush resistance – ideal for multi-layer spooling
Minimum Recommended Sheave Diameter: 20 × rope diameter (for FC core) | 24 × rope diameter (for IWRC core)
Important Note: Do not exceed recommended working load limits. Regular inspection for wear, broken wires, and diameter reduction is required. Warrington construction offers superior flexibility but slightly less abrasion resistance than Seale designs.
We support Custom Length Steel Cable, OEM, ODM and custom drum winding services.
