Gostern Adjustable Single Leg Wire Rope Sling with Sliding Choker Hook is engineered for secure lifting of cylindrical and irregular shaped loads. This sling features a wire rope body with a sliding choker hook that allows the sling to be tightened around the load, providing a secure choke hitch that grips tighter as the load increases . The sliding hook design enables easy length adjustment and repositioning without removing the sling from the load . Available with 6×37 or 6×19 construction wire rope , galvanized or ungalvanized finish , and various end fittings including master links, hooks, or thimbles .

This Sliding Choker Hook Wire Rope Sling features a self-locking choker hook that slides freely along the wire rope when released but locks securely when tensioned . The choker hitch configuration is ideal for lifting pipes, logs, concrete piles, steel coils, and other cylindrical loads where the sling needs to grip tightly around the load . It is widely used as Wire Rope Choker Sling with Sliding Hook in construction, as Single Leg Adjustable Lifting Sling in steel mills and foundries, as Self Locking Choker Hook Sling in pipe laying operations, and as Adjustable Choker Sling for general material handling . Available in wire rope diameters from 8mm to 32mm , with working load limits (WLL) ranging from 500 kg to 8,000 kg depending on rope diameter and configuration . The choker hitch capacity is approximately 75% of the vertical hitch capacity due to the bending stress on the rope .
